He obtained his PhD in Respiratory Medicine from the University of Wales in the United Kingdom and worked at Llandough Hospital in Cardiff, gaining advanced expertise in managing respiratory diseases and complex chest conditions. He also served for several years as the Head of the Pulmonology Department at King Faisal Medical Complex in Taif, where he contributed to developing specialised services and overseeing clinical care and academic training.
